2026 OHPARC Annual Meeting

Please save the date for the upcoming OHPARC meeting on Wednesday, April 16, 2026 held at the Cincinnati Zoo. Additional details and registration information coming soon!

This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Mark Jordan, professor of biology at Purdue University Fort Wayne. His current research aims at understanding the distribution and viability of populations of turtles to help recover and sustain vulnerable species. The keynote will focus on conservation genetic measures of the status of Blanding’s Turtle and Spotted Turtle in Ohio and beyond.

2025 Ohio Amphibian and Reptile Conference

The 2025 OHPARC Conference will be April 2, 2025 at the Ohio Farm Bureau, 4-H Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Registration closes on March 16. Cost is $40 ($20 for students) and includes lunch.

Walk-up registration (space permitting) is the same price, but does not include lunch. If you are a student that is unable to attend only because of the registration cost, please reach out to us about reduced price or free registration.

Keynote speaker will be Dr. Allison Sacerdote-Velat, Curator of Biology & Herpetology and Vice President of Conservation Research at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (Chicago Academy of Sciences).
